Get to know the teachers

Been teaching since: 2001

Favorite part of my job: 1. The staff I work with – they inspire me. We make an incredible team!  2. Helping to guide learners to be successful in every aspect of their lives through communicating, listening and helping them to set realistic goals in a safe environment. Witnessing  each learner blossom into who they are created to be is a privilege. The bonds we form are for life.

Favorite Subject: Mathematics

What do I do in my free time: I listen to podcasts which educate me to develop my business. I read books on business or novels for enjoyment. I spend time outside with my child playing sport or just playing games with her. I go for walks.

Fun Facts: I absolutely love hiking. The smell of fresh air, the incredible views. It’s where I’m able to reflect on how small I truly am compared to the creation around me.

Bush or Ocean: Definitely ocean!

Talent we didn’t know about: I’m pretty fast at starting a fire with a flint and dry plant material.

Bad Habits: It’s not a mess, it’s organised chaos! I can stack paperwork up and only once I decide it’s time to file or chuck, it needs to stay in that order.

Been teaching since: 2021

Favorite part of my job: Observing the amazing growth and development of young children in physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects, and being able to be part of their life journey.

Favorite Subject: Mathematics

What do I do in my free time: I like to garden, bake and be outdoors.

Fun Facts: I can play piano and started playing since Grade 3. I aupaired in America for a year in 2020. I have received an interior design diploma and a flight attendant license.

Bush or Ocean: Ocean holiday.

Talent we didn’t know about: I can play netball.

Bad Habits: I am an over-planner.

Been teaching since: 2019

Favorite part of my job: Seeing a childs face light up when they understand something and can do it right. The smiles, hugs and love I get everyday.

Favorite Subject: Science

What do I do in my free time: Spend time with my family and shopping.

Fun Facts: I love taking photos. I still watch animation movies and love it! I like doing adventurous things that get adrenaline pumping. I do not like public speaking.

Bush or Ocean: Ocean.

Talent we didn’t know about: I am good at digital designing & photography.

Bad Habits: Playing with my hair. Biting my lip and a very pickey eater.

Been teaching since: Forever! 1992

Favorite part of my job: Seeing how my kids grow and develop into confident pupils. Not only to perform well at school, but at life.

Favorite Subject: Don’t really have a favorite. Every subject is interesting and rewarding in its’ own way, but I do believe the world belongs to those who read.

What do I do in my free time: What’s that?! Gardening and I can lose myself in a good book.

Fun Facts: I absolutely adore my dogs. The best things in life are the people we love, the places we’ve been and the memories we’ve made along the way. I also collect hearts.

Bush or Ocean: Definitely Ocean!

Bad Habits: Coffee and chocolates make the world go round.

What do I do in my free time: Studies, reading and listening to music.

Fun Facts: I like hunting.
